[Yu-Gi-Oh! AU] Don't Think Twice before You Listen To Your Heart; Follow the Trace for a New Start
[This was supposed to be an exciting class trip.
The spring semester was about to come to a close, and Inko Hakuba's first few months in high school were supposed to end with a fun trip for everyone before the summer vacation began.
Said fun trip?
Going to Egypt.
Truth be told, she'd been looking forward to this trip for weeks; it was meant to be a trip for the senior students, but after a particular incident that was not disclosed to the public, the funds and tickets were given to the first years for free (so long as the student had a usable passport) as punishment for the students in question in lieu of barring their chances at graduation.
So Inko and her class were shuttled onto a bus, put on a plane, and were sent to Egypt as a cultural studies trip.
Her very first trip, her very first trip without her parents, and to a foreign country, no less! She was being taken to a land of adventure, full of beautiful golden sands, priceless artifacts, and ancient magic and wonder.
(Of course, it was not actually like that; but nobody had the heart to tell the poor girl that when she excitedly got on the plane. She was only fifteen, less than one month off from her sixteenth birthday, and she was clearly very excited!)
Their first stop was an outdoor market near Cairo, which was clearly trying to appeal to tourists like Inko who bought into the idea of the country rather than the reality. An old woman with graying hair reached out to Inko as she passed a stall, and stopped her as she was about to walk past.
Her classmates didn't notice that they left her behind.
"Yes...?" She asked in clumsy Arabic.
"You...I've seen you before."
The woman spoke in perfect Japanese, but it was clear that she was not a native speaker. Her mouth moved in a strange way, and they didn't seem to match her words, but Inko understood her perfectly.
"I...Excuse me?" Inko blinked.
The woman fished under the counter, pulling something out and holding it to Inko.
It looked like some kind of stone, almost the size of her fist. The image of what looked to be a tiger was carved on it, and the stone...looked old.
Quite old.
"For you. Don't worry about paying."
Inko took it in her hand and held it to her chest, and it felt warm in her hand. She didn't understand what was going on, but she nodded.
"I...if you're...thank you."
She bowed quickly, hurrying to catch up to the other students that were milling around nearby at another stall.
She dreamt of a voice that night, speaking to her. It was faint and muffled, and she couldn't understand it.
It wasn't until the next day, when they went to visit the Cairo museum, that she understood the words:
"Find me."
When she and her classmates went to the museum, she found herself stopping at a stone tablet on the wall with the same tiger etched into it; it looked like he was staring right at her...but that couldn't be right! That was a carving!
And yet...
She felt the stone in her hand growing warm, almost burning to the touch as she felt it...
Phase inside her body.
And something opened up under her, swallowing her whole as she fell into an abyss to the horrified screaming of her classmates nearby.
...
And there she was, lying in her Domino High school uniform inside what looked to be an open sarcophagus, the mummy long since removed. She was in the fetal position, short hair in disarray as she hugged herself.
She was unconscious...
And she wasn't in the museum anymore.]

She was unconscious...
And she wasn't in the museum anymore.]

She's sure of it: she's melting into his touch. His lips are so gossamer, so sweet...
This is a kiss.
Inko closes her eyes, leaning into this beautiful man as he claims her lips for himself. The thief that claimed her heart...
And...
P-perhaps her body.
She presses herself against him, not caring that her breasts are pressing against his...
Or that she feels warm and strange between her legs.]
no subject
Her body feels amazing against his. So soft, warm. Just as supple as he thought it would be but feels all the better than he imagined.
He keeps the kiss light though. Nothing too much for what he's guessing to be Inko's first kiss. After a few moments he pulls back to study her expression.]
no subject
Inko tilts her head just a little. Is she asking for more?]
Ba...kura...
no subject
[He hums softly, using his free hand to trace up her spine.]
What is it...?
no subject
She shivers under his touch, trembling...]
I...I...w-want...I...
[Her breath picks up.]
T-touch me. Kiss me. Please.
no subject
Eventually his hands make their way down to Inko's behind and he gently caresses it, loving how perfectly it fits into the palm of his hands and how he could just sink his fingers into that plush skin.]
no subject
He makes her feel...
...
Beautiful.
Inko trails her fingers up his spine, grazing the grooves of every muscle with her fingertips. He's so strong, so--
W-wait. He's touching her...!
She squeaks into his kiss before letting out a strange, pleasured sound into his mouth.]
Mmmmnnn...!
no subject
But Bakura pulls back to let out a breathy chuckle, highly amused by that adorable squeak and the moan.]
You said to touch you.
no subject
[She skates her fingers down and gropes him for good measure.
You know.
To be fair.
Not because she likes his ass.]
no subject
[He laughs at her returned groping.]
Is there someplace else you'd like me to touch you?
no subject
[Her face burns.]
I don't know, I don't...I've never done anything like this before. N-not even...
[She pauses.]
T-to myself.
no subject
He tilts his head slightly.]
Are most women in your time prudish?
no subject
I just...
[A pause.]
N-never...f-found anyone I liked enough to...
[She blushes.]
D-daydream about. S-so I...never did it.
no subject
[He loosens his hold on her.
Normally he'd continue as is but... Inko is from a different time. Things have changed, that much is apparent.
It feels wrong to rush it with her.]
... We'll take things slow. Why don't we wash up?
no subject
Gods.
Inko smiles, grateful and warm; he really is perfect. There's no other way to describe it: Bakura is perfect. He...
Knows what she needs. He's so gentle with her. Kind to her...
Growing bold, she bites her lip...and leans forward, kissing him gently.]
Thank you. A-and yes. That sounds...
[A pause.]
Lovely.
no subject
Bakura pulls away entirely after returning the kiss and moves to slightly more shallow water so he can sit back down. He begins rubbing the soap against him, his hair, and rinses himself off. It doesn't take long at all.
Should she still want to wash his back though... he glances over his shoulder at her.]
no subject
She has never been this comfortable with a man before; this couldn't be something so simple as 'love', right? There had to be something else to it. She'd met countless people who had partners, and few seemed this...perfectly at ease with the one they loved.
That's what this felt like.
Ease.
Comfort.
Bakura was safety. He was comfort. He was companionship in a way she had never known.
Inko washes her body quickly, lost in her thoughts...
But then glances over at Bakura.
She walks towards him and sits at his back. Gently, she runs her fingers over his skin and starts to rub his muscles a bit. They're quite tense...]
Do you want me to keep going, or...w-would you rather I wash your back now?
no subject
Bakura groans and eases into her touch, closing his eyes and tilting his head back slightly. Gods, how long has it been since someone did this for him...?]
Nnhh... Keep going...
no subject
Mmm.
She works his muscles with tender, deft fingers, making sure to only put enough pressure to ease tension, and not enough to hurt. She'd had to do this for Micchan after sports' injuries and helped Miho-chan after she fell and hurt herself during a stage performance. Caring for others and making sure they were happy and healthy was Inko's strongest love language.
She chuckles, intimate and soft near his ear.]
Okay. You just let me know when you want me to stop.
[This was...
Goodness, this was nice.
The water felt cool against her bare skin; the wind rustled through her hair; and Bakura's skin felt lovely against her hands.]
no subject
I might... never want you to stop...
no subject
She leans close, only centimeters away from his ear. His sounds spur her onward, make her belly warm, make her feel bold in a way she's never been--]
Mmmm...Maybe I don't want to stop making you feel good, either...?
no subject
You're quite the minx for a virgin, you know...
no subject
A-A mi--me...? I-I...
[She pauses, though continues to massage his muscles.]
Y-you give me the courage to s-say things...I never thought I'd say. You've shown me parts of myself that I...never knew I had.
[She hums softly.]
I like...being a minx. If it's with you.
no subject
Never in a million years did he think he'd be helping someone with their self worth and confidence. That he'd have... a partner.]
Mmn. You're going to make it difficult to behave myself if that's the case...
no subject
More sensually.
Gods, she can't believe she's having this conversation. That she's touching this man and that he's letting her touch him in turn...]
Bakura...d-do you...
[Swallow.]
W-want to...m-make love to me?
